New Dance Season, New Possibilities: What to Expect at Epic Dance Complex

As summer winds down and the excitement of a new school year builds, there’s something magical happening at Epic Dance Complex. Our studio doors are opening to welcome both familiar faces and new dreamers, ready to embark on a journey inspired by the legends who came before them – Gene Kelly, Misty Copeland, Fred Astaire, and Ginger Rogers.
This dance season brings fresh opportunities, refined programs, and the same nurturing community that has made Epic Dance Complex a second home for families across Saskatoon for over a decade.

What’s New This Season:

Enhanced Recreational Programs

We’ve been hard at work refining our recreational dance programs to better serve each developmental stage. From our Twirling Toddlers (18 months) to our advanced teen classes, every program is designed with age-appropriate skills and milestones in mind. Our collaboration with Saskatoon Kids Physio ensures that every movement supports your child’s physical development.

Expanded Cross-Training Integration

This season, we’re incorporating even more specialized training methods into our classes:
  • Progressing Ballet Technique for stronger, more confident dancers
  • Alixa Flexibility training for improved range of motion
  • Sugar Foot Therapy techniques for foot strength and injury prevention
  • The Ballet Blog methodology for enhanced learning

New 4-Week Opening Number Program

For families who missed our regular registration, we’re introducing a special 4-week program focused on learning our recital opening number. It’s the perfect way to jump in mid-season and still be part of our annual celebration.

What Hasn’t Changed:

Our Commitment to Every Child

Whether your child is taking their first tentative steps in Twirling Toddlers or perfecting their grand jetés in our competitive program, we maintain our 100% exam pass rate and our promise that every student grows at their own pace.

Small Class Sizes, Big Impact

With an average class size of just 4 students, your child receives the individual attention they deserve. Our 12-15 student maximum ensures everyone gets the guidance they need to flourish.

No-Audition Competitive Program

Our competitive teams welcome dancers based on age, level, and experience – not intimidating auditions. We believe in nurturing talent, not creating barriers.

What Parents Can Expect:

Clear Communication

Regular progress updates in December, March, and June keep you informed of your child’s development. Our parent portal and social media updates ensure you never miss important studio news.

Professional Development

Our teachers participate in ongoing training and professional development, ensuring your child learns from educators who are constantly growing in their craft.

Community Connection

From our annual breast cancer fundraiser to our June recital celebration, Epic Dance Complex is more than a studio – we’re a community that supports each other both in and out of the dance room.
Getting Started: Ready to see what this season holds for your dancer? We offer free trial classes because we believe you should experience our community before making any commitments. Contact us at (306) 518-7980 or [email protected] to schedule your visit.

This dance season, let’s create something Epic together!
