We Help Our Students Become The Best That They Can Be

By teaching in a manner that upholds equality, diversity, duty of care and professional conduct and practice, I will provide a positive atmosphere to enhance the overall development of my students. Along with improving coordination skills and developing muscular awareness, the dance classes I teach give children the freedom to express themselves through movement.

As a dance teacher, my mission is to promote dance in the development of the whole person.  Through nurturing confident learners and instilling self-confidence and self-discipline, my dancers will be confident of their abilities and strive for excellence as they increase awareness of their physical being.

With this framework, I will create an environment that fosters a love of dance.

Community: Epic Dance Complex believes in building a strong sense of community within the studio which creates a supportive and inclusive environment for students, parents, and teachers alike. This community leads to a positive and enriching experience for everyone involved and fosters a sense of belonging that extends beyond the dance studio.

Resilience: Dance can be a physically and emotionally demanding art form, and developing resilience helps students overcome challenges and setbacks. Epic Dance Complex teachers encourage students to persevere and work through difficulties helping them build confidence and develop a growth mindset that will benefit them well both in dance and in life.

Continuous Development: The world of dance is constantly evolving, and Epic Dance Complex encourages students and staff to engage in continuous learning and development to help them stay current and adapt to changes. This includes taking classes, attending workshops, or participating in performances and competitions.

More Than Skills for Dance: While dance is the primary focus of the studio, it’s important that students are developing more than just dance skills. Dancers are also developing important life skills such as discipline, teamwork, communication, and self-expression. Epic Dance Complex fosters these skills to help students succeed both in dance and in other areas of their lives.

Family Affair: Finally, creating a family-friendly atmosphere can help parents feel more engaged and involved in their child’s dance education. Epic Dance Complex includes opportunities for parents to observe classes, participate in events and studio parties, and connect with other families within the studio. By creating a welcoming and supportive environment, the studio will become a second home for both students and their families.
