Epic Dance Complex’s Fifth Annual Breast Cancer Fundraiser
This October, Epic Dance Complex is proud to support the C95 Radio Marathon for Breast Cancer Research. All funds raised stay in Saskatchewan, supporting local breast cancer research through the Cancer Foundation of Saskatchewan.
A Cause Close to Our Hearts
Our fundraiser honours the memory of Desirae’s mom, who passed away in September 2021. She was instrumental in creating Epic—supporting Desirae’s training, helping behind the scenes with props and costumes, and lending a hand at parties, competitions and recitals. Above all, she helped our dancers feel loved.
Five years later, we continue to carry that love forward through our annual fundraiser.
Why We Give
About one in eight women in Saskatchewan will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. With so many girls and women in our dance community—from dancers and teachers to moms and grandmas—this cause touches the people who make our studio feel like family.
