Combo Classes

Our Combo Classes are an introductory level class allowing students to explore different styles of dance in one class.

 

18 Months to 2 1/2 Year Olds

Mini Movers Combo Class (WITH PARENT/GUARDIAN ASSISTANCE) - SESSION

This ½ hour class is a combination of pre-ballet, pre-acro and creative movement. Parent/guardian will be an active participant in the class.

 

2 ½ to 3 ½ Year Olds

Twirling Toddlers (2 ½ to 3 ½ Year Olds) - SESSION AND FULL YEAR OPTIONS

This 1 hour class is a combination of ballet and acro. The class will introduce the students to basic ballet and acro steps. Full year students will be prepared to perform one dance in the year-end recital (ballet).

 

3 ½ to 5 Year Olds

Little Leapers (3 ½ to 5 Year Olds) - SESSION AND FULL YEAR OPTIONS

This 1 hour class is a combination of ballet and acro. The class will introduce the students to basic ballet and acro steps. Full year students will be prepared to perform one dance in the year-end recital (ballet).

5 to 7 Year Olds

Pre-Junior Jammers (5 to 7 Year Olds) - FULL YEAR

This 1½ hour class is a combination of ballet, tap and acro. The class will introduce the students to basic ballet, tap and acro steps and prepare students to perform two dances in the year-end recital (ballet and tap).

Standard Classes

Our Standard Dance Classes are broken down into the following age groupings:

5 ½ to 7 ½ Year Olds

For students who are new to dance or have previously taken a combo class and are looking to progress to more in-depth training in each discipline. Students will be prepared to perform a dance in the year-end recital for each class taken (except acro).

6 to 8 Year Olds

For students have previously taken a combo or regular class (minimum of one year of experience in ballet) and are looking to progress to more in-depth training in each discipline. Students will be prepared to perform a dance in the year-end recital for each class taken (except acro) and will participate in one competition (in Saskatoon).

7 to 9 Year Olds

For students have previously taken a combo or regular class (minimum of 2 years of experience in ballet) and are looking to progress to more in-depth training in each discipline. Students will be prepared to perform a dance in the year-end recital for each class taken (except acro) and will participate in two competitions (one in Saskatoon and one out-of-town). Competition choreography will take place in a separate class on Saturdays. More details on competition to come in October.
